Musicians DJ AM and Travis Barker should fully recover from severe burns they suffered during a fiery jet crash in South Carolina that killed four people, a doctor said Sunday.

That really sucks. Hope he gets better.

We’re alive, just been busy, and the ramblings that follow

Author: Spaced Invaders  //  Category: Just Blogging

I’m sure there are a few people out there that are wondering, “Why haven’t we had another delightful post from at least one of the Spaced Invaders.” Well the truth is, we’ve both been busy as hell. We had our first Stone Groove party at the beginning of the month. We’ve been doing shows for Camel, and Redbull. We’ve also had our solo shows as well. Not to mention we have podcasts to deliver.

Well, I’m not here to rant about how busy we are. So let’s shift some gears. Literally. For those of you that don’t already know, Flatbroke recently came into possession of a 1960 Oldsmobile 88. This 88 is decked out! Custom blue leather, chrome around the whole thing, sittin on 24”s, also has a kick as air ride to drop it on the ground when you need to piss off the elderly, or to get the girls to giggle. Damn it…I just realized I don’t have my camera to post the pic of it. But I will when I get the chance. Trust me on this one, it’s a pimp ass ride.

I do love the way luck works though. I noticed the other day I did not have License to Ill loaded in my SSL interface, then I noticed that I didn’t have it on my hard drive. (I had an external hard drive crash on me a few weeks back and was only able to recover a few songs.) But sure enough, I opened the door to my storage shed and peaking out of a box was the infamous picture of a 747’s rear-end with the CD inside! Now I didn’t have to download it.

Also, Costco’s food court is awesome the next morning after rousing from a hangover.
