Upcoming Events
This just popped up over the weekend. The folks over at
Charleston Water Keeper had a change for their upcoming event at the
Eye Level Art warehouse. The guys that they had booked for the entertainment,
Party On Marz couldn’t make it. (Which kind of sucks because I checked out their site and they seemed like a pretty cool DJ duo. Hopefully, they will make it to the Chuck sometime in the near future.) And because of a recommendation from none other than
Marcus Amaker, the folks from Charleston Water Keeper got in touch with me to drop some tunes at their event. The event should be pretty ill! Hit the jump for tickets to the event.

Upcoming Events
Kulture Klash 4 is coming up on April 14th. The Spaced Invaders have been asked back to perform. This time in a larger venue. Gustavo Serrano, one of the people who puts this together says that the venue will be much larger and will have even more areas for us to project on. I’ll keep you all posted.

On Feb 21st, 52.5 Records will be twelve years old.
As part of our celebration, we will be hosting a food drive to benefit The Lowcountry Food Bank. The goal will be to collect 630 cans of food.
(12 x 52.5 = 630. Clever, huh?)
Non-perishable food items may be dropped off during regular business hours, February 20th-22nd.

The Digitel is throwing a little get together at Global Awakening this Thursday. The Spaced Invaders will be on hand doing projections and video for the event. FREE doughnuts and FREE brew. Don’t get much better than that.

Stone Groove,
Upcoming Events
The upcoming Stone Groove event will donate all the door proceeds to the local Boys and Girls Club on 22 Mary Street. It was announced that the chapter was having some very rough times financing the operation and asked the community to help. Well, the Spaced Invaders heard this and decided to turn the Stone Groove into a charity “Funkraiser” for the Boys and Girls Club. It’s just $5 at the door and you can shake your butt to some good tunes, enjoy some good mood food, and go home feeling good about yourself because you helped keep kids in a good after school program instead of out in the streets.
Party is going on at the Daily Dose off of Folly Road. Just look for the giant video screens from the road and you’ll be in the right place. The flyer says from 9pm-12am but the party usually goes on for longer than that.
